Enterprise Challenge Contestants Gear Up for Trade Show

The Yakima County Development Association’s and Kittitas County Chamber of Commerce’s annual business plan competition, the Enterprise Challenge, is heating up!

After completing extensive courses in business finance, marketing, technology and more, the contestants received individual coaching from community experts. Each then submitted a business pitch to judges who scored each enterprise and determined the top twelve that moved forward in the contest.

Our top twelve contestants are now busy preparing for the contest’s trade show at Yakima Valley Skills Center.  The second round of judging is held on Thursday, February 21. Approximately 30 judges meet with our contestants during the afternoon Trade Show to evaluate their ventures and choose our top eight finalists in the contest.  Each are ultimately vying for the winner’s circle of $17,500 in cash prizes.

We are excited with the variety of new ventures that are moving forward in the contest.  Please meet our 12 Enterprise Trade Show contestants:
