COVID-19 BUSINESS INFO QUICK LINKS
Yakima County Commissioners designate $2.8 million in CARES funding for small business grant assistance with no repayment requirements to be administered by the Yakima County Development Association. Yakima County businesses are able to apply for up to $10,000 to be used for expenses such as business rent/mortgage, business utilities, and business insurance expenses that were incurred on or after March 27, 2020.

Deadline for the first round of applications is Monday, July 13, 2020 at 5 PM.
Do I meet the eligibility requirements?
THE BUSINESS MUST…
Be for profit
Be physically located in Yakima County
Have had to close or reduce its capacity to operate based on the Governor’s orders
Have 20 or fewer full-time equivalent employees as of the date it applies
Have lost revenue due to COVID-19
New businesses who are under one year old are welcome to apply! This grant program does not have a requirement on how long the business has been operating.
What can I use the funds for?
These funds are ONLY to be used for the following business operation costs incurred on or after March 27, 2020.
*No other expenses are eligible for this grant program.
